These pellets are made from locally sourced wool from various farms around Fort Collins, Colorado. The wool we "rescue" and turn into pellets for slow release fertilizer would likely go to waste as it is too dirty for other uses.
Why Wool? Our all-natural wool pellets hold up to 20 times their weight in water, reducing the need for frequent watering. As they slowly biodegrade, they release essential Nitrogen and Potassium (approximately NPK 10-0-4), and naturally expand to aerate soil. When used as mulch it can provide a texturized barrier that deters slugs and snails.
